OK, here we go, as all the remaining football leagues in the area start league play this week.

I will revisit my predictions in all the leagues. I predicted at the beginning of the season, and revising my predictions from what I know after 5 games.

AMBASSADOR LEAGUE
Before the season prediction
1. Ontario Chrisitan, 2. Aquinas, 3. LInfield Christian, 4. Calvary Murrieta, 5. Western Christian, 6. Arrowhead Christian.
Prediction now
1. Ontario Christian, 2. Western Christian, 3. Arrowhead Christian, 4. LInfield Christian, 5. Aquinas, 6. Calvary Murrieta.
Why the change: Western and ACA are better than expected, both at 5-0, but I don’t think they can knock off the experience of Ontario Christian.
BASELINE LEAGUE
Before the season prediction
1. Upland, 2. Rancho Cucamonga, 3. Los Osos, 4. Etiwanda, 5. Glendora, 6. Alta Loma.
Prediction now
1. Rancho Cucamonga, 2. Upland, 3. Los Osos, 4. Glendora, 5. Etiwanda, 6. Alta Loma
Why the change? Upland has improved after early struggles against top teams, while Rancho Cucamonga has been solid throughout. There could be upsets among the next four who all have winning records.
CITRUS BELT LEAGUE
Before the season prediction
1. Redlands East Valley, 2. Yucaipa, 3. Redlands, 4, Cajon, 5. Miller, 6. Eisenhower.

1. Eisenhower, 2. Redlands East Valley, 3. Yucaipa, 4. Redlands, 5. Cajon, 6. Miller
Why the change? Basically it’s one BIG change, moving Ike from last to first and moving everyone else down. Eisenhower has not suffered like I thought they would after the late departure of coach Vinny Fazio.
DE ANZA LEAGUE
Before the season prediction
1. Twentynine Palms, 2, Big Bear, 3. Yucca Valley, 4. Shadow Hills, 5. Desert Hot Springs, 6. Desert Mirage.
Prediction now:
1. Big Bear, 2. Yucca Valley, 3. Twentynine Palms, 4. Shadow HIlls, 5. Desert Hot Springs, 6. Desert Mirage.
Why the change? Big Bear and Twentynine Palms had tied for first each of the last 3 years, so it was natural to pick them first and second. But TP is just 1-4,. while Yucca is 5-0. TP has won 8 straight in the Battle of the Bell with Yucca Valley, but this could be the year Yucca turns the tables.
DESERT SKY LEAGUE
I didn’t pick this league before the season, but here is what I have now, although 5 league games have been played.
1.  Silverado, 2. Burroughs, 3. Victor Valley, 4. Barstow, 5. Granite Hills, 6. Adelanto
MOJAVE RIVER LEAGUE
I didn’t pick this league before the season, but here is what I have now.
1. Oak Hills, 2. Serrano, 3. Apple Valley, 4. Hesperia, 5. Sultana.
I expect the battles will be Oak Hills-Serrano for first and Apple Valley-Hesperia for third.
MOUNTAIN VALLEY LEAGUE

1. Jurupa Hills, 2. Citrus Valley, 3 .Rim of the World, 4. Banning, 5. Rubidoux, 6. Notre Dame.
Prediction now
1. Jurupa Hills, 2. Rim of the World, 3. Citrus Valley, 4. Banning, 5. Notre Dame, 6. Rubidoux.
Why the change? No major changes here, but Rim is better than I expected and might be better than Jurupa, but I’m sticking with Jurupa. Notre Dame, the doormat last year, could be a dark horse for a playoff spot this year.
SAN ANDREAS LEAGUE

1. San Gorgonio, 2. Carter, 3. Rialto, 4. Arroyo Valley, 5, San Bernardino, 6. Pacific

1. San Gorgoniio, 2. Carter, 3. Rialto, 4. Arroyo Valley, 5. San Bernardino, Pacific.
Why the change? No changes. In my mind, Carter put itself back into contention for the league title with a solid win over Colton last week.
SUNKIST LEAGUE

1. Kaiser, 2. Summit, 3. Colton, 4. Grand Terrace, 5. Fontana, 6. Bloomington
Prediction now
1. Kaiser, 2. Colton, 3. Summit, 4. Fontana, 5. Grand Terrace, 6. Bloomington.
Why the change? Colton was a de facto No. 3 last year and preseason this year, but has been much better. The Yellowjackets might’ve been my favorite in the league before last week’s games, when Kaiser beat Ayala and Colton lost to Carter. Fontana is better than expected and a big battle could take place for the 3-4-5 spots.
