Marymount up 23-19

The Sailors have been pretty balanced offensively in taking the early lead, as Manon-Greskovics-Fuller has four kills while Kathleen Harris and Atlanta Moye-McLaren have three kills each. Setter Lauren Greskovics-Fuller has nine assists.

Krista Vansant has six of REV’s seven kills. Service errors have plagued both teams, as Marymount has five errors while REV has two.

Live blogging from REV volleyball

In what has become an annual rite of late fall, the Redlands East Valley girls volleyball team is going for its fourth straight CIF championship in about two minutes here, facing Marymount. The Wildcats are actually underdogs, as Marymount is the No. 1 seed to REV’s No. 2. I’ll try to keep you updated, though being situated by the roof here at Cypress College isn’t the greatest situation for internet access ever.

Fumble! Then Fumble! again.

A missed exchange between Kori Grant and Cody Rogina out of the “Wildcat” formation caused a Los Osos fumble, which Upland LB Anthony King recovered at the Grizzly 24.

After an illegal procedure penalty, Upland gave the ball right back, as Cole Chapman fumbled an exchange from Justin Nunes which Garrett Tobin recovered for the Grizzlies.

Los Osos ball down 13-7 with 8:48 left.

Los Altos wins

Los Altos carried over the momentum from game 4 to win game 5 15-10. Its serving game kept Bonita off-balance throughout and eventually ruled the day.

And by the way, the girl I’ve been calling Brittany Fulton is Jazmen Russell. The program had their numbers confused. Thankfully I figured out out late rather than never.

REV-Corona del Mar comes up in a half-hour.
