CIF-SS championship game predictions

So, after going 6-6 picking winners for the CIF-SS quarterfinals, I had a much better semifinal round. I went 6-1. The only game I got wrong was Aquinas. Of course, it took an incredible rally by Aquinas to force overtime and then win.
For the season, I am 189-74-1. I have 8 margins exactly right and 1 score exactly right. I’m not rooting for teams to win or lose. But if I’m always picking local teams to win, I lose credibility as an unbiased observer.
One interesting note:
Silverado’s opponent, Cerritos Valley Christian and Aquinas’ opponent, Long Beach St. Anthony, played each other in a nonleague game Week 5. Valley Christian, playing at home, won 46-35.

Division 7 (Friday)
San Gorgonio 29, Norte Vista 28
(With chance to tie and go to OT, San G coach Ron Gueringer goes for 2 and gets the win)

Division 9 (Saturday)
Silverado 38, Cerritos Valley Christian 35
(Valley Christian comeback bid comes up short)

Division 10 (Saturday)
St. Anthony 42, Aquinas 35
(In a back-and-forth game, St. Anthony scores winning touchdown in final 3 minutes)

Week 3 San Bernardino County football predictions

I had a decent week in Week 2, going 25-8 and I am now 84-22-1 for the season. But for some reason I struggled at the end, missing five of the last six games on the list (I am claiming dementia). However, I did get one margin exactly right, when I said Los Osos would beat Alta Loma 20-16 and it was actually 19-15, giving me 2 exact margins for the season. I had one score right, but I had the wrong team winning when I said Sultana would win 21-14, and they lost 21-14, so that doesn’t count. Here are this week’s picks:

Apple Valley 26, Victor Valley 21
Barstow 28, Sultana 20
Cajon 35, Paso Robles 31
Chino 44, Los Osos 28
Colony 35, Norte Vista 17
Colton 16, Chaffey 14
Covina 37, Montclair 16
Don Lugo 27, Northview 22
Eisenhower 40, Rialto 22
Fontana 26, Miller 20
Grand Terrace 42, Vista del Lago 7
Great Oak 35, Ayala 27
Jurupa Valley 30, Arroyo Valley 20
Kaiser 21, Palm Springs 19
Lakeside 35, Bloomington 8
Mater Dei 49, Upland 21
Moreno Valley 42, Jurupa Hills 22
Oak Hills 28, Etiwanda 16
Ontario 28, Patriot 26
Pacific 36, West Valley 22
Perris 42, San Bernardino 12
Rancho Cucamonga 24, Murrieta Valley 14

Week 1 San Bernardino County football predictions

It was a pretty good Week 0 picking games for me, going 27-6-1

The losses were: I incorrectly picked Chino to win, Ontario to win, San Bernardino to win, Silverado to win, Eisenhower to lose, and Don Lugo to lose. The 1 tie was Rim-Maranatha.
I didn’t get any games exactly right by margin or exact score, but I came extremely close. I predicted a 35-7 Rancho Cucamonga win over Chaparral. The final score? 36-7.

I didn’t pick either way on Arroyo Valley’s win over San Bernardino Thursday.
Here we go for Friday’s games

• Apple Valley 49, Granite Hills 0
