Pasadena Chalk Festival

Chalk Festival photo no 2.jpg

Hundreds of artists do their thing on the sidewalks and concrete walkways of Paseo Colorado in Pasadena. Themes included animation, and movies. The chalk artist festival was going on in conjunction with live music off Colorado Boulevard and in the Vroman's Book Store courtyard.

The Chalk Festival continues Sunday, June 20. It is free.

I like this chalk festival picture better than any I've ever seen. Photos that try to capture the works themselves always seem to fail. This view of the artist's media, along with a tantalizing glimpse of the artwork itself, is much more intriguing to me. Thank you.

Fantastic experience and you gotta be there to really see it in person.
