Another payroll snafu

And another one in the Saturday papers for LAUSD ... the Los Angeles Times reports that healthcare benefits were inadvertently cut off to 1,300 employees.

That left some of the group - mostly substitute teachers - unable to use their insurance for doctor visits or prescriptions. The district provides health insurance to employees who work at least 100 days during the school year.

It's the fault of the plagued payroll system, which you'll recall last year screwed up thousands of paychecks.
