Services for Daily Breeze education reporter Vu Nguyen are scheduled for Monday morning.
The service will begin at 10 a.m. at St. Callistus Church, 12921 Lewis St. in Garden Grove.
An 11 a.m. procession will follow to the cremation site.
Nguyen, 34, died Friday when he was removed from life support systems at Kaiser Permanente Medical Center in Harbor City. He suffered cardiac arrest while playing soccer with friends May 10.

I was really sorry to hear about Vu Nguyen and his untimely death. He has been on my mind since I emailed a press release to him a few weeks back relating our news that we have a new principal for our all girls' high school, St. Mary's Academy, in Inglewood.
What is really coincidental is that I called an old friend before I went on the Daily Breeze website this morning, whose husband, Charlie McManis, worked at the Daily Breeze for years. I was trying to get some tips on how to get a response from the Daily Breeze for the press release that I sent in.
I cannot tell you how sorry I am to hear about Mr. Nguyen. Our prayers are with him and his family.
