Entrepreneurship can start early
Anastasia Snyder is an old hand at business.
At the tender age of six she operated her own bakery business, selling cookies, cakes and other homemade treats which she peddled at the park, at church or wherever else she could find buyers. There aren't too many of us who can say we actually had a working enterprise going at six years old.
I know I didn't. Heck, at that age I was probably still struggling with the concept of nap time and not making a poo poo on the carpet. Well ... maybe I was a bit more advanced than that.
But I digress. Anastasia, who's now 10, is at it again. Her new business, Lovin' it Loops, sells hand-knitted cell phone cases, change purses and "perfect purses," which she says are great for holding candy, among other things.
I think some of us are just wired to be creative. Right from the get-go. And she's one of those people. It makes me wonder what she'll accomplish down the road.
I guess we'll have to wait and see ...
