Southland entrepreneur taps into fluid power
Willis Bond has a great idea - putting the kinetic energy created by water flow to work.
The Corona resident hopes to create miniature power plants that could float in water, be attached to a bridge support, lean off the side of a boat dock or stand in the middle of an aqueduct. The idea is to harness the flow of water that's already occurring.
Think about it. If we can tap into oceans and rivers to harness their power, the supply could be virtually endless. In a business world that is growing increasingly green, this is the kind of idea we need.
