West Covina or Valinda?

The death of Paul Salazar in Valinda (or is that West Covina?) the other night is getting a close look from Sheriff's homicide detectives. That said, they are keeping a tight lid on information about the shooting, potential suspects and the circumstances.
Salazar was one of two men killed in gang attacks over the weekend. Six others were wounded, according to officials. No arrests have been made in any of the cases.

I don't even know where or how to begin this..Let me start by saying that I am a 48 Yr old female and my name is Lupe.I was born in Pico Rivera (Pico Viejo)in Calif. I am a mexicana and very proud of it. But, not when I am affected by the news of "GANG VIOLENCE". Truthfully, it shames me that my own raza is killing one another! I don't know what the answer is, I dont think anyone does. I know one thing for sure and that is Paul Salazar did not deserve to have his life taken away like this, not by the hands of another..one who must be a coward that is most likely walking amongst us, only with his head down, until the truth comes to light and justice prevails. God help us all especially those who need to arm themselves to fight their own raza!!! Sincerely, Lupe
(now residing in NV.)

We new Paul very well and we deeply send our condolences to his children and family. No matter of his affilation with gangs he was always a loving human being to me and My family.

We will remember all the good in him and pray for justice.

God Bless you Paul.
