Death penalty?

The DA’s office put out their first press release in the WIlliams murder case. They are charging Man-ling (Manling) Williams with capital murder in the deaths of her husband and two sons, officials said.
The complaint alleges Neal Williams was stabbed to death with a sword and the boys smothered with a pillow.
They are also saying she was lying in wait to kill the boys and committed multiple murder — all capital crimes that could be punished by death or life in prison without the possibility of parole.
Arraignment is at 1:30 and I’m headed there now.

  1. Special circumstance means that she might be denied bail. Is there a link to the press release by the DA?

  2. I dont doubt it was a sword. I remember we would always talk about swords, and “big ass swords” for that matter. He was into that kinda stuff. He was a great guy. He was such a nerd, but he pulled it off in a cool way. R.I.P. buddy.

  3. My sympathies and may he rest in peace, first of all.

WTF are you guys thinking?????????? He had two kids (a 7 year old and a 3 year old) at home, and he had a “big ass sword” in the house, probably NOT safely locked away and within accessibility to the kids!!!!!!!!

You know, if this were a firearm, he would be in jail and his kids taken away for “child endangerment”, right?

Talk about parents of the year….. let me take that back, “incompetent” parents of the year.

  4. to the last person to comment. WTF are you talking about!! How do you even know if that sword was in a safe place or not. Manling would of known where he put the swords. It can be in a god damn lock box and manling would still have the key. So make some sense and stop putting a deceased person down by accusing him of child endangerment. Manlings friends need to see facts and not make retarded accusations. A dead person can not talk or defend themselves. The next thing you idiots will say is the two boys smothered themselves too huh. So typical of her friends.

  5. Logic, again, shall trump over emotions. Let me poke hole again.

    Dear Tom,

My comment to Mr. William’s friend indicated that the sword probably wasn’t kept safely from the kids. I don’t know what kind of sword he has. But, a “big ass sword”, probably would indicate 3 or 4 feet, at least, no?

How do you put something that large in a “god damned lock box”? How large of a lock box do you need to have? How much would it have cost? You do know their place is very small, right? Look at up in the property profile. It is not too hard to imagine the swords are probably being kept in some closet, instead of being locked in some huge child-proof box.

Again, I don’t know that, and neither do you. However, keeping lethal weapons where kids can perhaps easily access is, in my book, stupid. This is a free country, and you are free to disagree with me.

As I said previously, I do not know any of the people involved. I simply just don’t understand why people keep wishing Mrs. Tsang-Williams to go to hell, or saying how wonderful Mr. William was, if they did not know the complete truth.

Most of the comments here, pro or con, are simply people’s imagination and hypothesis, including your (Tom) comment.

  6. Excuse me there Tom, but I don’t think the poster your comment was directed at identified themselves as one of Ling’s friends. Why don’t you stop making “retarded accusations.” Trust me, not ONE, NOT ONE, of Ling’s friends that I know would EVER have anything to say about Neal, nor would they ever attempt to put blame for what happened on Neal. I should really stop reading this blog, before it makes me crazy….

  7. everything has 2 sides, people have different point of view to manling or neal..

Cus we all knew them, knew the kids..

I dont like to have any kind of thing that might hurt my kid keep in home either..

    Not safe in everyway..
