Comment on Paul Salazar

This anonyous comment was posted under the entry regarding the murder of Paul Salazar and his possible connection to the Robert Whitehead murder.
I'd thought I'd share it, with a caveat about crime reporting. We report the news. If the news is that the Sheriff believes that Salazar is linked to Whithead it's going to be reported. As a crime reporter I don't put commentary in my stories. I just report the news.
That said here's the comment:

Its not right that you can put the blaime of an unsolved murder on a dead man that is not here to defend himself, Paul Salazar was a great father/brother/son and friend. Its a shame that the system is so lazy that in order to close a case they have to put it on a Dead man that is also a victim as well as Mr Whitehead may they both RIP. Its a shame that the animals that commited these crimes are still out there just waiting for their next chance.... he worked hard for the IBEW and never missed any days, he went to school 3 days a week, he was the best Father he could be, he left behind 3 beautiful children,he was drug free,he had a big heart and a great sense of humor and that he comes from a very VERY RESPECTFUL family. His only problem was the people that he was consumed by! A TRUE Friend Always RIP Brother...God Bless You...He has been my best friend for 25 years....

Thanks for sharing, what's reportable fact and opinion get confused, glad you posted with a disclaimer. It's these little tidbits that help remember those stats reported had lives and were important to someone. Reminders keep us attached and human. Thanks.
