Ruby Gonzales rounds up the story behind a series of robberies targeting the chemicals used to make meth. Apparently recent federal laws have made it harder for meth cookers to get their hands on the key chemicals (besides Drain-o) used to make crank.
The suspicion is that these theives have taken to stealing cars, smashing through the front doors of closed pharmacies and getting the supply of pseudoehpedrine they need for a batch.
