Suspect in Hicks murder captured in Oak-Town
There was speculation he'd run to Mexico, but Richard Daniel Rolon, 21, the Brown Authority gang member who is a suspect in the Aug. 10, 2007 murder of Maria Hicks in Pico Rivera, turned up in Oakland over the Labor Day holiday. He was promptly arrested and shipped back to LA County to face the music, officials said.
Hicks, 57, was fatally shot after she tried to stop a man she saw spray painting a wall at San Gabriel River Parkway and Woodford Street. Three suspects have previously been arrested.
There is no confirmation to the rumor that Rolon was trying to pass himself off as a Raider fan in anticipation of this week's game against Detroit.

okay, just read the comments from rolons mother,and all i can say is....nothing. if you cant see where the problems start,then you have the iq of this dudes mom. im a parent, and i wouldnt defend my child if he was a col hearted killer who decided to take someones life for objecting to her neighborhood being defiled by some punk ass who thought tagging was worth a persons life.hey stupid,would you be so quick to back somebody, if they killed you punk ass son? i hope he fries . and for his dumb ass mom, who cares?just being her has got to be hell enough. i hope they hang him in rowland heights. since he didnt grow up there he should be able to die there.gangsta thugs,,, quit killing decent people.kill each other we dont care

The mother was a lowlife herself and what does trash in most scenarios produce? MORE TRASH! I bet she was on the welfare system for many years and no social worker bothered too see if her kid or kids were ever being cared for. This is just another area where are system fails those good people out there like Maria Hicks....I hate being negative about are goverment but this type of story a becoming more and more common!
