Diamonds are forever - except in Rosemead

A Chinese national got robbed in the parking lot of the Double Tree in Rosemead Thursday a.m., authorities said.
The take? (or "take out" if you prefer) $600,000 in jewelry stored in bags in the victim's car. We've got a copy of the police report and will post it here when it's scanned.
In the meantime, police are on the lookout for two or three men wearing ski masks and driving a white SUV.
