Bullets in Bolen

twodead1.jpg<br> Pedro Estrada, 13, was shot at least five times Wednesday night as he stood in front of his parents' house in the 4100 block of Downing Street in Bolen Parque.

Relatives said Estrada was shot twice in the head, once in the chest and once in each foot.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Estrada's father, Jose Luis "Pepe" Estrada was also murdered. He was shot several times chasing down his son's killers, authorities said.

Pepe leaves behind a wife and two other sons, relatives said.

The tiny white home just north of Ramona in Baldwin Park was riddled with at least three bullet holes near the front door.

Chalk marked the spots where each viictim fell. Television crews maintained a vigil outside the home into Thursday afternoon. Among those on Scene were Chris Blatchford of FOX 11 as well as Azteca America and KABC 7.

Few other details were available about the incident just after noon Wednesday.

wouldn't it help members of neighboring communities if we knew which gang was responsible for the attack? this would allow parents to be extra vigilant with regards to their teenagers safety. If I lived in a rival neighborhood, I would be concerned about wreckless retaliation.

Its possible that there will be retaliation. Baldwin Park High School was locked down yesterday and there will be extra security at their football game today.

but why would there be retaliation at the school he attended? wouldnt it occur elsewhere, in a different neighborhood? seems backwards to me. can somebody map out the baldwin park gang territories so we no where we are going into?
