Kicked in the groin

| | Comments (0) |

This from Brian Day on the night cops desk:

Officers responded to the 00 block of East Huntington around 11:51 a.m. in reference to an assault and an attempted robbery that occurred around 7:05 a.m. The victim indicated that he did not report the incident earlier because he had to be at a meeting. He advised that he was walking towards his vehicle when he saw a male African-American suspect going through the trash. The suspect then asked the victim for money, but the victim declined. The suspect then lifted his shirt and the victim saw the grip of a pistol in the suspect's waistband. The suspect demanded the victim's wallet, car keys, and watch. The victim IMMEDIATELY KICKED THE SUSPECT IN THE GROIN, and the suspect struck the victim in the face with a blunt object, possibly the weapon. The suspect then fled the scene on foot.
