Photo of missing kids released
This is a photo from the FOX 11 Website of Jennifer De Jong or Dejongh or Jennifer Lopez and the three missing grandchildren of U.S. Rep Gary Miller.
The sheriff's department apparently released this photo sometime this morning, but now they are unable to find a copy of it -- so for the time being we've borrowed it from FOX.
There is little update this morning in the case that we broke here last night. Authorities are swamped with media requests.
Sheriff's Deputy Oscar Butao said no Amber Alert has been issued in the case and likely will not happen.
"It looks like a custody dispute," he said. "Most likely they are not going to be in danger."
Channel 11 is also reporting that De Jong's family is blaming Rep. Miller for some of the problem. They claimed Miller is somehow abusing his office to weigh in on this ongoing custody battle between De Jong and Miller's son Matthew.
Miller's office has declined to comment on the case this morning.

It's sounds like it is a weird but all too common power play among the divorcing. Parents so wrapped up in themselves (and their stupid drama)they've forgotten what is good for the kids.
This story is news because Miller may be using his political connections to enable this fiasco. Psychopaths often are viewed on the surface as fine, upstanding pillars of the community-but I'm not saying that applies here-of course.
1) this is not a custody dispute. Jennifer lost all her custody rights after she failed to deliver the children based on a court order that she agreed to herself. The father has full custody now.
2)Anything that comes from Jennifer's family is a lie. Her father likes to use the whole "conspiracy theory" thing when it comes to the fact that Rep. Miller is a Congressman. I know the father knows where she is. This family continues to lie and point the fingers at everyone else for their daughter's mental problems that has caused these children issues that are practically irreparable. I also know the her father was instrumental at assisting her "getaway". I urge the public to take anything the Lopez family says with a grain of salt and assist in getting these children home safe and putting Jennifer where she belongs, behind bars with considerable mental rehabilitation.
The father is Brian. Matthew is Rep. Miller's eldest son. and as a caveat, Brian is a wonderful father who unfortunately messed with a complete nut job.

Jen has been a great mother and has had custody of her children ALL along. The media seems to be acting upon orders handed from above. i wonder from who.?????

If Brian Miller and Jennifer (whatever her name is now,) were foolish enough to never be married and end up with three kids-- both need their heads examined.
Too bad their The Miller De Jong families didn't kick them both in the fanny years ago and help them get their priorities straight after the first child was born.
I doubt Congressmen Miller wants anything more than to know his grandkids are safe.
Mothers in most custody cases are favored ... it just so happens in this case where a congressman is in the mix; the mother has the kids taken away from her? Sounds a little fishy. I think any mother who loves her kids and goes through a custody battle contemplates running with their children. It's few who have the courage to do it. Jen I pray with all my heart that you guys get through this. You are a strong woman and a beautiful mother. My prayers are with you and your boys.
its sad how a mother who had been taking care of her 3 kids for this long at the best capacity she can, can in a heartbeat be stripped of that, and all you supporters of the congressman and his son can jus bad mouth Jennifer.. true the safety of those children is the most important, and i promise u, they are safe now. but dont slander Jennifer and George.. see how u act when ur stripped of ur children wronfully.
Setting the record straight did nothing to set the record straight. Brian wasn't even at the hearing where his parents were given custody for three months. Brian does not have full custody of the kids.

Child custody aside, why not talk about how Gary Miller makes cities "buy" his land through "emminent domain" so he does not pay taxes on the profits he continues to make and how he continues to cheat the IRS of these profits, or so I've heard and I am not making accusations of any type and this is just a comment I've heard. Miller, can YOU disprove this tale of you evading taxes???
