Body found near freeway

A man’s body was found today near the Pomona (60) Freeway in South El Monte. The discovery was made about 9:40 a.m., said California Highway Patrol Officer Francisco Villalobos.

Homicide investigators were sent to the scene, said Deputy Oscar Butao of the
Sheriff’s Headquarters Bureau.
