Crime scene readers might recognize the address in the post below as the mobile home park where three members of a family killed by street racers lived. The copy comes from an email sent by Lt. Ralph Batres of the El Monte PD. As for the long faces in the shot....Maybe Santa's fatigued. He's been to a lot of places in the past few days.

On 12-19-07, Wed., at 5:30 p.m., due to the efforts of Agent Eric Sanchez of the El Monte Police Department and Manager Diana Doo of the Brookside Country Club located at 12700 Elliott in El Monte, approximately 200 children were able to receive gifts with Santa Claus.  As you can see, the children wore their “happy faces” to welcome Santa.
