Man dies in Alhambra jail

A man died today while in the custody of the Alhambra Police Department, authorities said.

Sheriff’s detectives were sent to the police station to assist in the investigation, according to the Sheriff’s

Headquarters Bureau.

The man was not identified. His death was reported about 9:15 a.m. Friday.

No further information was available.
