The lady in the lake

| | Comments (1) |

Brian Day will have a touching story about Arcadia's "Lady in the Lake" in tomorrow's newspaper.

It tells the story of Lainie Cole, Arroyo High School grad, through the eyes of a cousin, and details the mystery surrounding Cole's death as Sheriff's detectives and coroner's investigators piece together her last days.

Cole was found floating in a Peck Road percolation pond late last week. Her death has been classified as "suspicious" but not a homicide.

Apparently, there will be a memorial fund set up by former classmates of Cole's. Here's a website Brian points to in his story.

Here's another apparently affiliated with Arroyo High. Its a memorial for fallen classmates.
