  1. What a comprehensive list of names and forfeitures. Amazing how cooperative police can be when they want to be, huh?

  2. Wow…no kidding it is amazing the results. I hope Monrovia PD has the same results with their joint efforts to clean house here.

Amazing…that is a lot or crime makers taken off the streets for a while.

  3. You’re absolutely on the button usagain.

Meth pipes and hype kits here and there, three weapons, heroin, weed and meth in good amounts, 10 parolees and a probationer hooked up and 11 children taken into protective custody. Sounds like safe places to raise kids to me. None of those people could be prone to violent acts…right?

You’re so on the mark, none of those items lead to violent acts and I’m sure the children are nice and safe with all those goodies around.

Of course these are the types of people you stick up for, so I’m sure everyone considers the source.

  4. Lboy,

Not only am I “on the button”, but much of the developed world doesn’t incarcerate drug users.

To be clear, Lboy, I do not endorse drug use. But that doesnt mean I endorse placing drug users in prison. Our prison system only serves to further radicalize, criminalize, demonize and debilate non-violent, drug offenders. They also end swelling the ranks of prison gangs, as a de facto matter of survival. The consequences spill out from there.

This strikes me as more PR stunt than anything. They didnt uncover 1/10000 of whats happening in their city, but its fun and rewarding to pretend that it was a succe$$.

  5. Dear Local boy,

Thank you for bringing the hard work of the women and men of law enforcement, back into focus on what is most important; children, and law abiding citizens deserve to have their streets free of drugs, guns, and criminal conduct. Your law enforcement professionals appreciate your support.

Thank you, and remember, I am more than willing to answer questions from those who feel this was wasteful, unfair, unconstitutional or immoral.

  6. Maybe your prattle impresses the incarcerated, or soon to be incarcerated, but it takes a special type of doper to go to state. You know that, you just fail to mention it in this very weak response.

You say you don’t endorse drug use but you apparently endorse the possession and sales of it, along with parolees possessing firearms, with children in the household or you could have come up with something more that your contention that this was done just as a pr stunt.

We all know that drug dealers never get ripped off for their stash or money by armed thugs, that having weapons and drugs around kids is a safe thing to do and all dopers who get to make it to state facilities, not county ones, are never violent. When they’re out they are always clean and on top of things so they can take care of their kids right?

You should be doing this bit of yours at the Ice House or get your own hour on Comedy Central. You’d have people in tears from the laughter.

  7. LBoy,

16 low-level criminals (bail for one, set at $600????) 3 ounces of marijuana and ONE gram of cocaine? Two guns? Front page news?

    This is a big bust?

    Honestly, that’s laughable.

On any one block in Azusa you are sure to find more than 3 ounces of maryjane…I know somebody who keeps that much in his ashtray (no, he wasnt an editor at the Herald Examiner).

Lboy, for a minute your conservatism had me pegging you as a defender of personal liberty. If that’s the case, what’s the nonsense with the drug wars?

  8. The gram of cocaine looks like personal use, the $634 bail was probably for a traffic warrant, the amount of meth and heroin look like they could have been for sales if other items showing that (cut, baggies, scales, pay and owes) were found.

Most users don’t buy in ounce quantities and certainly there’s enough for sales charges as shown by the amounts and the charges on at least three of the idiots.

Let me make this clear to you usagain. I’m all about personal liberty and taking responsibility for your own actions but the people you love to defend don’t take the responsibility part seriously if at all.

Not gangster or many in their families and certainly not dopers. That anyone in their right mind would have cocaine, meth, heroin, weed and weapons in their homes shows just how they could care less about their kids and only about what makes their lazy asses feel good.

Seen it many times in my life, lazy useless people screaming about their kids being taken away from them when living a gangster or doper lifestyle than attempting to play the victim.

The victims are their kids, family members, neighbors and society at large who have to deal with these weak fools. They know what they’re doing is illegal, what the ramifications are for their activity and if they refuse to straighten up it’s on them.

The real question is why you continually defend these repugnant people?

Oh yeah, I am stone set against the legalization of drugs. I’ve seen the harm they do since I was a kid and it’s not about addiction and if you think it is you’re a phony.

It’s about being lazy and refusing to accept responsibility for your own life.

  9. Lboy,

I have you pegged as really old or really young. The fact you call yourself Boy, though, has me guessing the former.

You list weed, firearms, cocaine, heroin and meth as if reading off a name of monsters in a kindergarten classroom.

First, a person can legally have weed and a firearm in the State of Ca. Maybe these guys couldn’t bc of probation/parole terms but don’t demonize medicine and our constitutional rights…it makes you appear backwards and brutish.

The 1 gram of cocaine is barely worth mentioning…but keep it from Newspaper Editors.

Meth is a scourge. And most users now know that if they want a steady supply of amphetamines they either have to join the armed forces or get diagnosed with ADD and ADHD.

Heroin is another serious problem, though the people I’ve heard addicted to heroin developed the addiction while in prison. Go figure. And again, people hip to the game already know they could score their Opiates at a local government endorsed drug spot….the pharmacy (Vicodin, Percocet).

When does the Azusa PD begin their sting on the Doctors who prescribe Opiates to drug addicted seniors?

  10. When you learn to debate let me know. I’m middle aged and have probably everyone on this board over a barrel, including you, when it comes to drug knowledge and those who use them.

You of course run from the main point of my post, parents of low fiber, which shows again how incredibly weak you are. All you do is babble.
