Locals arrested in bunker murders

SAN BERNARDINO, Calif.—San Bernardino County authorities have arrested two young men for investigation of murdering a teen couple in an abandoned military bunker in the Mojave Desert.
The Sheriff's Department says 18-year-old Collin McGlaughlin of West Covina and 19-year-old David Smith of Covina were arrested Thursday night at their homes.
The bodies of 18-year-old Christopher Cody Thompson of Apple Valley and 16-year-old Bodhisattva "Bodhi" Sherzer-Potter of Helendale were found January 5th.
Investigators initially thought robbery was the motive but now say nothing was taken from the victims.
McGlauglin and Smith will make their first court appearances on January 22nd. A sheriff's spokeswoman says it's not known if they have retained attorneys.

OMFG! ive been to the bunkers! not then but before and OMFG! i was supposed to go to the school the kids that got killed were at A.K.A (AAE or the louise center)!!!
This is what happens when the offspring of violent prone, European immigrants get their hands on weapons.
All you have to do is look at their war-torn mother countries to realize some people have blood-thirst in their family histories.

I went to elementary school with Collin! He always talked about the WWII weapons he had in his house and always caused trouble at school. One day he brought a flask to school but it was just full of water. He always talked about killing and guns, even back then.
I knew cody my whole life, he was like the brother I never had, and when that call came from my friend that night about what had happened, I just couldn't stop crying. I understand now that Collin was probably mentally ill for sometime as I read in a comment from chris. I do not hate him, I do not wish anything bad on him, but the day of his judgment by God will be greatly interesting! I miss cody so much, he was the best person imaginable, and I know alot of people give grief about bohdi being 16, but he really and truly was a respectable young man, and the only reason they were at the bunker was for his best friends 19th birthday party. And I feel so sorry for his family because 2 years before this iccident cody's niece was in a car accident, 4 days away from her 4th birthday, so please don't bash the family about cody because they have been through more than enough. Thanks to all who read.

I went to school with Bodhi in 7th grade, we grew extremely close and never went more then a day without talking. She is the only person i trusted completely. Then i moved,still kept in touch over the years....i fuckin love that girl...she was the most beautiful person,inside and out. Her smile was so pure,her eyes were a tunnel to her soul...i love you Bodhi,and I miss you so much. 3 months and it will be a year since you were taken....my God I miss you.
