The circus comes to town

Monrovia officials have scheduled a press conference to discuss the situation. Starts at 10 a.m. at City Hall.

I plan to cover the Press Conf via the blog. I will post updates in the comments section of this entry.

the press conf is being held at city hall. abc is here as is the star news and times. it appears the event will be televised on community access. dick singer is handing out a statement regarding the city's position. there also appears to be several members of the public here too.

chief johnson is speaking telling the community to come forward and turn in shooters. he said 15 agencies from sgv are helping out.

leo stallworth challenging some of johnson's assurances are you overwhelmed? johnson says its a crisis

sheriff capt shaw says hightech approach will be taken to stop the violence.

brandons dad and family are0speaking about the fear in the community. "we need to stop and this is a start."
