Confusion now over BP interim

| | Comments (6) |

Wait, I guess it's not quite official yet: Mayor Manuel Lozano said the police department is misinformed. Capt. Mike Taylor has not been named the official interim police chief though the Baldwin Park Police Association claims he has.

Looks like the city and police just can't agree on anything lately.

Politics as usual, but I'd put money on the Police Officers Association being accurate and the Mayor changing his mind as something was leaked before he could do some sort of grandiose statement.

Politics does cause strange things.

Anyone surprised buy the cop hater's comment is a better question?

Didn't take long for your true nature to come out. Phony posts feigning care and concern at the start but your true self couldn't hide for long.

All talk and no substance, why am I not surprised.

usagain's manifestos over the last few weeks have been nothing more than some close minded progressives missives at the expense of reality.

usagain needs to up his lithium and have his close mind tucked back in a closet.

the rest of you too need your own tv show to wake up the rest of the idiots out there.

Rosemary,

Thanks for joining the conversations. Your insights, invaluable. While not the homo-erotic, uhum, posture that LBOY has chosen, you've made it more than clear that "progressives" have no place in the SGV. By the way, straighten that apron and take off those shoes, don't you have Corn Beef and Hash to cook up?

Lboy,
Remember, you are a political and ethnic minority in the SGV. This is why you have to scream so loud to be taken seriously. Nobody in my neighborhood (nor most of the So. Cal) would be surprised to hear the kind of right wing fanatcism coming from a former Cop.

Cops, in general, are distrusted and this irks you. Is it any surprise that when you ask a classroom full of 3rd graders if Cops are generally good or generally bad, most would say generally good. But by 9th grade most would say you were generally bad? Why is that? Why is there an epistemology of radical suspicion when it comes to the police force?
Sure, maybe this isn't as true in Monrovia and Claremont as it is in El Monte and Whittier, but that has something to do with the fact that the police don't typically harass the brothers, uncles, cousins and neighbors of white people in Dockers.

On the other hand, you can have a two degrees from two very prestigious universities, teach Sunday School and volunteer at a convalescent home and STILL be considered a Suspect bc of where I live, how I cut my hair and the white t shirt I wear.

You think you've pegged me as a racist...but wait, my best friend is whi...no, that's not true. But it must be fun to finally be able to turn the tables and accuse somebody else of being racist bc Lord knows you've been called this more than once.

Now, go hawk those "big boy prison calendars" you mentioned and beef up your marketing campaign, because I'm sure most of us in the heterosexual community are still unfamiliar.

I don't ever remember being called a racist, all kinds of other names but honestly I don't remember being called a racist. I don't act like one or come off as one. Growing up and playing ball with others of all races taught me how to get along at an early age. You never learned that. You're an obvious Latino Tom Metzger.

You are a racist with a capital R. Even people here recognize that. Must just bug the crap out of such an accomplished guy like you.

Cops in general are not distrusted by people that have half a brain. The others, like you, simply don't matter. I would think the 10,000 mourners at Randal Simmons funeral yesterday are testament to that. They were certainly not all cops and the minority community was very well represented. Guess you couldn't make it

No posts from you about his murder though, because you don't care.

You know you make no points here with your idiotic racist babble. I'm sure at your college dances you were quite the sight to see, just dazzled everyone with your choice of words. Now look at you, reduced to a message board racist.

I grew up with all races and have Hispanics and Persians in my family. We all pretty much think alike and it's never because of skin color that we differ on things, like your weak ass. We are about right and wrong and good and evil. You are about language and skin color. People like you are weak, we are strong.

We recognize our differences based on our own feelings and nothing like race gets in the way. You've probably made a living from being a race baiter, what a joke.

I'm not a political minority in the SGV. You don't know anything about how I vote and I'm sure all your illegal buddies don't vote so again you get the dunce hat.

Better watch out us. Look at what's going on in Arizona and why they got the ball rolling on refusing services to illegals and checking the immigration status of "everyone" arrested. An illegal murdered a cop. I know you're OK with that but good people are not. the tide is turning.

Bottom line is you're a racist coward and you step in the role more with each post you make.

Keep patting yourself on the back because nobody else is, arrogance is a tool of the unaccomplished and small minded.

You are no challenge.
