I wonder if the police alerted LAUSD about the restraining order...

Can you imagine if Raigoza would have lie in wait at his estranged wife's workplace... the school where she worked?!

LAUSD ought to have a policy that any employee with a restraining order should be called in for a psych evaluation and given a couple of weeks work suspension to decompress. I don't mind if it's paid leave either.

The victim was not a teacher. She was an administrator at district headquarters.

That building has a heavy police presence at this time, from LAUSDPD. That's a fact, but the rumored reason is that the victim's new boyfriend worked there also.

Thanks for clarifying, InTheKnow, that Ms Acosta DID NOT work at a school, however, if Raigoza did work at an LAUSD school, I hope the police informed his work place of the restraining order...

We are all human - but it would be very unsettling for me to realize that my child's teacher was given a restraining order. Obviously this man was have done something threatening to his wife in order for the order to have been granted. The school should have been notified. Now he is on the loose - and what are they telling his students?

AARON WAS MY TEACHER AT CITY OF AMGELS LOCATED IN HUNINGTON PARK..HE SEEMED REAL NICE..I WAS MOSTLY THEIR EVERYDAY..I DID HOWEVER GET TO HEAR VARIOUS ARGUMENTS HE HAD WITH HIS WIFE..

THIS HAPPENS WITHIN THE DISTRICT MORE TIMES THAN THE BOARD WOULD LIKE TO ADMIT. IN SCHOOLS AND THEIR ADMIN BUIDLING.
MAKE THIS AN OFFICIAL NOTICE THAT NOTHING WILL BE DONE UNTIL SOMEONE IS KILLED ON THE INSIDE.......
HOW UNFORTUNATE.

Unfortunately this district has many employees who don't belong here. Honestly. I've gotten to see quite a few. From teachers to T.A's. Stalkers, pot smokers,,etc..How sad to know that our kids aren't as safe in school as we thought they were.

I still find it hard to believe he took things to that level, he was always so friendly....but something push him over the edge

I COULDN'T BELIEVE IT!! HE WAS MY HISTORY TEACHER @ WILSON HIGH IN EL SERENO..
