Monrovia du jour

Over at Metroblogging LA, Monrovia resident Frazgo is doing a heck of a job blogging his experiences during the past week. His posts on the subject (and a few more on other topics) can be found here.

My personal favorite of his posts is this one.

Thanks for the shout out Frank. This sight is an incredible source of news, but its most important function is a sounding board for how the community feels about the topics.

I'll keep doing what I do because I care, thanks for your support. You can count on mine.

Frank-

Another great resource is www.monroviawakeupcall.blogspot.com

It offers a lot of detail that your staff at the Trib just doesn't have time to cover, like the nitty gritty on re-development stuff.

"Don Quixote" is also good to organizations like the VFW, posting information on our events. He's a little acerbic, and definitely a skeptic, but he keeps rolling out information.

Thank you, I have learned so much about my community this past few weeks. Thanks for being a source and a voice

don is must the screen name people identify with. It is several people gathering information and putting up under that name.
