what range of activity would "parole violation" cover?
Usagain...the parole and probation contracts are standard and can be found at your local library...or the standard from can be according to an officer I spoke with.
They are standard, no drugs, guns, boozing, obey the law, no outstanding warrants including traffic tickets or back in the slammer you go. The parolee signs off on that contract before they get to go out on parole. The contract includes verbage to unannounced visits to verify compliance no on can argue illegal search and seizure.
They sign these contracts agreeing to those terms in lieu of continued jail time.
There it is in a nut shell.
Thanks. I'm just trying to read into what kind of potential violations might've occured.
How many violent criminals were taken off the street versus how many people with bench warrants are round up?
California Parole statistics or should I say problem.

wow. very helpful and devestating.
for all we know, they arrested 15 people for failing to urinate in a cup.
Gee, I can remember murders being hooked up on just "bench warrants" along with all types of other felons. So much for the brilliance of that thought.
I'm betting you have a prison big boys calendar hanging in your room somewhere.

A bench warrant can also be issued for misdeamanors (that result in a failure to appear) but this fact doesn't sit well with point, so do what you normally do, ignore it.
By the way Lboy, your homo-erotic humor probably has a better home in a Police locker room.
More like, 15 parolees that where given a choice: urinate in a cup or be incarcerated. To which they answered through their actions, "I’d like to be incarcerated, please."
BTW I like Local Boys humor.
