The evacuated area has been extended west to Michillinda Avenue, north of Grandview Avenue. Previously, the burn area’s western border stopped at Bailey Canyon Wilderness Park.
Also, residents east of Camillo Street, north of Grandview Avenue, may be allowed to return to their homes as early as 2 p.m. today.
Another map from inciweb, which is referenced in the Foothill cities blog, is at http://www.inciweb.org/incident/maps/full/1233/0/ It’s really interesting to me because it shows both the fire perimeter for the 3 days and the topo lines — you can really see how steep those canyons are! (And see exactly where the fire was — hopefully they can update this later today!)
