High school closes on Columbine threats

| | Comments (1) |

Officials at Wilson High School in Hacienda Heights announced this afternoon the school will be closed Friday for fear of terrorist threats. The announcement came after officials learned of an Internet threat targeting students at the school on the ninth anniversary of the Columbine massacre.

More to come on this as we learn it.

"... on Columbine-type threats" if at all.

Columbine (HS, I presume) was not threatened this time or any time. So your reference to a Columbine threat is really referring to something that never happened (a threat called/directed to the school).

Columbine was attacked without threats or warnings. The school was attacked in a guerrilla-style, with stealth and no warnings.

So, if you want to sensationalize your story, use other words that will not make some HS J students cringe at the future that beholds them.
