Crime Scenes in the SGV

Took several photos over the past week (while the blog was down). Here’s the first in the series:.

ICE agents get ready to take down a warehouse in Industry as part of an ongoing investigation. The agents were serving a warrant that was sealed. Not sure what they were looking for. They were surprised to see me and wanted to know how I got tipped off to the raid.

I responded “It’s kind of hard not to notice 30 black Fords in the same parking lot as a bunch of guys wearing ICE jackets.”

  1. I sat on a plane from Las Vegas once with a bunch of big guys in suits. I thought maybe they were a bunch of chefs or culinary school students coming back from a conference. Turns out they were arena football players. Ooops. šŸ˜€

  2. Do the ICE agents (or any law enforcement) realize that EVERYONE has a camera nowadays? They act incredulous but are quite aware it’s impossible to be covert during the day? Maybe Frank should wear one of those “press” hats to let our finest know where he stands on the beat. I was wondering, as the ICE agents were entering the warehouse were they grunting, “hut, hut, hut, hut, hut, hut, hut”?
