"Unprovoked"*
Police say a 22-year-old Baldwin Park resident was shot and killed in an unprovoked attack near the intersection of Ramona and Merced *Tuesday night.
The dead man was riding with two women in a car when the attack occurred. The shooter apparently sped off.
No arrests have been made, detectives said they have no leads in the case.

this is alarming! we need more details on what the victim was wearing, known gang affiliations, etc.
But then again, this is Baldwin Park (and not Monrovia) so we just might watch this story fall into the back pages of the Tribune in 2 days time.

This is why Joe Friday does not shop in Baldwin Park. This sadly is the rule, not the exception for that town.

"I know what you're thinking. "Did he fire six shots or only five?" Well, to tell you the truth, in all this excitement I kind of lost track myself. But being as this is a .44 Magnum, the most powerful handgun in the world, and would blow your head clean off, you've got to ask yourself one question: Do I feel lucky? Well, do ya, punk?" - Dirty Harry
I don't understand why you have'nt made an arrest yet!!! you know who orderd the shooting! go after her and than the son!!. He didn't have to die that way!
