Former Ram kicker Zendejas issues a denial
The latest from reporter Bethania Palma:
Speaking through an attorney Thursday, former Rams placekicker Tony Zendejas maintained his innocence.
"The charges are utterly false," attorney Tim Younger said.
Lunch time traffic at Zendejas' plush sports bar was light Thursday.
A manager identifying himself as "Marty" said he could not comment and referred all questions to Younger.
Zendejas is charged in an ugly rape case and was arrested Thursday morning at his home in Yorba Linda. A woman claims he drugged her and raped her in a motel room on Jan. 26. The criminal complaint alleges the the woman suffered great bodily harm as a result of the rape.

Also - did you know Yorba Linda is the richest City in the US per capita?
ok, so so he's accused of rape, boo, bad, hiss, shame, etc. but i chow down at this guy's restaurant all the time...killer enchiladas. won't stop me from going there.
Did this happen at his Restaurant/Bar/Night Club in San Dimas? This guy owns a large business with lots of customers, most weekends are crowded at Zendejas, what day was this supposed to happen? Sound more like a scorned woman or a woman looking for a large pay day.
I'll have the chicken taquitos with a side of rape.
