1979-80: Age 18-19 in Berlin, CT. “Gerhart Reiter” (or “Christian
Gerhard Streider” “Christian Gerhard Streiter” appear to be
misspellings) is a Bavarian German exchange student. Presumably
overstays visa.
1980-8? : Disappears, claims to live in Minnesota part of this period.
No known aliases. CONFIRM.
198?-85 : Age 24 in San Marino, CA. “Christopher Chichester” (name of
Berlin, CT teacher.)
1985-87 : He disappears, with no known aliases.
1987-88 : Age 27 in NYC. “Christopher Montbattan Crowe” “Christopher
Crowe” etc.
1989-1993 Presumed NYC, unknown aliases.
1993-2008 : Age 33-48. In Boston MA, Cornish NH, Nantucket MA. “Clark
Rockefeller” “J.C.R.” “J.P.C.R.” “Clark Mill Rockefeller” “Clark M.
Rockefeller III” “James Frederick” “Chip MacLaughlin” “Michael Brown.”
2007-08: Age 48 in Baltimore MD. “Charles ‘Chip’ Smith.”

There’s also this blog post detailing a link between Clark Rockefeller/Chris Chichester and Michael Millken:

Rockefeller, who went by the name Christopher Montbattan Crowe at the time, worked for Nikko Securities International in 1987 and 1988 before being fired for incompetence. Almost immediately after departing Nikko, Rockefeller landed a job at Kidder Peabody as international sales manager, according to interviews conducted Wednesday by Dave Copeland, author of Blood and Volume: Inside New York’s Israeli Mafia.

  1. Can we refine the dates, as more information is made available/clarified?

    1961: DOB for “Christian Gerhart S.” born in Bavaria, West Germany(CONFIRM)
    1980-81: Age 19 in Berlin, CT. alias “Gerhart Reiter” (or “Christian Gerhard Streider” “Christian Gerhart Streiter” may be American misspellings of a full-name) German exchange student (US high school.) No diploma.
    1981-84 : Overstays visa. Disappears; claims to live in Minnesota part of this period.
    No known aliases. Moves to California WHEN?
    1984-85 : Age 24 in San Marino, CA. alias “Christopher Chichester” (name of Berlin, CT teacher.) CONFIRMED.
    1985-87 : He disappears, w/ no known aliases.
    1987-88 : Age 27 in NYC/Greenwich CT. “Christopher Montbattan Crowe” “Christopher Crowe” etc. CONFIRMED.
    1989-1993 He disappears, unknown aliases. NYC?
    1993-2008 : Age 33-48. In Nantucket MA., Boston MA, Cornish NH. “Clark Rockefeller” “J.C.R.” “J.P.C.R.” “Clark Mill Rockefeller” “Clark M.
    Rockefeller III” “James Frederick” “Chip MacLaughlin” “Michael Brown.” CONFIRMED.
    2007-08: Age 48 in Baltimore MD. “Charles ‘Chip’ Smith.” CONFIRMED.

    If anyone can clarify specify dates/locations, that would be a huge help. His claim to have lived in MINNESOTA sometime between 1981-84 may be true: no sightings confirmed however. I suspect JOHN DOE was in California earlier than 1984, and perhaps in the New York area from 1985-1993. Thanks for any help!

  3. February 1961: DOB for “Christian Karl Gerhartsreiter” of Siegsdorf, GERMANY. He was hyphating his name “Gerhart-reiter” even in Bavaria.

    1981: Moves to Wisconsin, “Gerhart-reiter” marries US citizen Amy Jersild, 22, for Green Card.
