Rockefeller is Gerhartsreiter

From the Associated Press (as if we didn't know already):

BOSTON (AP) -- The FBI says it has identified the kidnapping suspect who calls himself Clark Rockefeller as a German man who came to the U.S. as a youth and later took on several aliases.

The FBI told reporters it pulled fingerprints from immigration documents from the early 1980s of Christian Gerhartsreiter (GAYR'-hahrtz-ry-tur). The prints match those taken from Gerhartsreiter around the time of his Aug 2. arrest in Baltimore.

Earlier this week, authorities in California identified Rockefeller as Gerhartsreiter, though they did not provide forensic evidence.

Gerhartsreiter is accused of kidnapping his daughter off a Boston street. And authorities are seeking to question him about the disappearance of a California couple who owned a guest house where he lived.

Is this guy even a U.S. citizen? Good thing he is not in Los Angeles, San Francisco, or some other "sanctuary city." Put this guy into the ground where he belongs.

1. I do not understand how, as officials have stated, he could be "in the country legally." It seems his student visa ran out a long time ago. He may have married originally to get a green card, but that either ran out a long time ago also, or could easily be proven to be a sham marriage, thus nullifying the [expired] green card. He is not automatically a citizen because he married an American citizen or because he sired a child here. He is not in the country legally because he married an American citizen because a) we're not sure he was even married to Ms. Boss and b) if he was, he's divorced from her now anyway. Under what possible explanation can he be here legally? No one is explaining this, media is just stating the bold fact that he is here legally. Please, how?????

2. Atty Hrones persisted in saying his client is Rockefeller until he is shown some definitive proof that he is not; when they finally show him definitively that he is not Rockefeller, Hrones says oh that was a waste of time. Which is it?

3. Atty Hrones keeps saying that Ruth (Didi) Sohus sold John's truck to Mr. X; but all those who knew her said she died thinking that John was alive but on such a secretive mission that he could not or would not contact her: She could not have sold his vehicle without it being passed to her through probate, and she would not have probated his estate while believing him to be alive. Also, obviously, if she had been able to sell it legally, she clearly did not transfer title. (To whom exactly would she have transferred it? Christian Gerhartsreiter? C. Gerharts Reiter? Christopher Chichester? Christopher Crowe? Lord Mountbatten? Clark Rockefeller? etc.)

4. There are those saying on other comment pages that Mr. X could not have done in John Sohus, as Ruth was quoted as saying she believed him to be off on some secret mission; but it was determined years ago that all her "information" (read misinformation) came from Mr. X. If he did something to John Sohus, naturally he would want to mislead John's mother.

5. Last week we read that they were planning to take another forensic look at the yard on Lorain Road to try to find Linda's body; nothing seems to either be happening or be reported this week with regard to these efforts. I guess we would hear something if a body were found, but one wonders - are they looking?

How refreshing, intelligent deduction - please join the Boston Herald forum, you're desperately needed there. Folks in Boston have enormous difficulty grasping the fact that Crock's a liar, so they believe the marriage b.s., the truck sale b.s., the "Linda did it!" b.s., you name it. Most suspect its a Dungeons & Dragons killing: the next theory will probably be that Rockaphony made his fortune in Beanie Babies!

A couple of thoughts on the Green Card:
1) At the time Crock married (1981), Permanent Resident Cards were issued WITHOUT EXPIRATION.

2) I agree that its likely a sham marriage, contrived as a fraud, but that may be difficult to prove without subpoena - Amy Jersild refuses to speak, apparently.

3) The "marriage" to Sandra Boss was a fraud: no marriage certificate was filed, ergo they weren't married.

4) There was no solemnized ceremony (even Crock admits that); some fantasized claimed it was a Quaker wedding, that too is very doubtful. I tried explaining how such a fraudulent marriage contrived to wholly deceive one spouse, with extensive deceit presented to the Clearness Committee, would be an anathema to the Friends: Red Sox Nation was outraged at the discussion of religion, LOL, while insisting that any "ceremony" is a valid marriage in Mass. (It's not; we also have no 'Common Law' nor palimony either.)

4) The "divorce" wasn't - may have started as such, but 'Boss vs. Crockefeller' became a probate custody case with the settlement sealed, at both parties' request. (Why? Skookums = child out-of-wedlock.)

Crock remains in custody until we find out how many corpses he's buried. He'll be prosecuted as an Illegal Alien or for 1,001 counts of fraud & perjury (Title 18 USC 1001, I mean.) Don't worry - his Beacon Hill friends cannot bring him tea, but he's got a nice, BIG bunkmate named Jamal... Mission Hill has made Beacon Hill its biatch: there IS some justice in the world, after all!
