Baldwin Park City Councilman Anthony Bejarano was arrested late Friday on suspicion of public intoxication, police said.
According to court records, Baldwin Park police made the arrest shortly after 10 p.m.
Bejarano posted $250 bail for the alleged misemeanor offense and was released within three hours of his arrest.
Well,well,well what happened here did our fine councilman screw up again. First he becomes urban man of the year, then can’t keep a job and now he gets arrested for being stupid oh I mean drunk. Wow this is the man I want running my city he is a great example for the community coming back from college to show all the citizens of baldwin park how to get drunk,loose your job several times and this is how he is helping the community. Do you know that Mr. Bejarano cannot give the cops a raise because the city can’t afford to?? If anybody wants a safe city, it would be him. For Christ’s sake, do you think he wants to drive in a city with gangsters and grafitti? It’s funny, you DO realize that councilmembers live in the same city right?? Regarding his career, attorney’s often work on their own. Don’t hate on him since he can work wherever and whenever he wants and if YOU get fired from your janitorial job, you would be screwed. Rather than blabber behind a screen and keyboard, I encourage you to find out the facts from the source itself. Who knows, you can maybe even ask Mr. Bejarano yourself and he’ll give you an honest answer. Wouldn’t that be a revelation! Attenion facts are good; This sounds like anthony or his mom and dad I’am getting all choked up. The city can hide all the money in parks and recreation but they can’t afford for protection I call B/S. I have seen the budget and the police are getting screwed why don’t we cut anthony’s pay to help out almost 50,000 for a part time job that doesn’t include his little boards he is on except for the metro he got kicked off of last week. This kid is nothing but a full blown loser. As far as he can work whenever he wants because he is self employed that was not of his choice he was fired and I bet he would give anything to have a real job and steady pay again. This is the makings of a loser not a winner. Ignorance is vital in this situation. I always thought if someone is intoxicated, then they shouldnt drive. But Apparently being responsible and walking is just as bad. And what exact charges were held against him?no proof of intoxication?Read the paper people. Unlike other council members and the BP PD, anthony bejarano lives in the city he governs, and prides himself on his home, but if you dont live in this city you cant understand it.
