Quadruple-murderer scheduled for sentencing
Sentencing is scheduled Monday for convicted quadruple-murderer Ralph Steven Flores.
The 26-year-old member of the "Azusa 13" street gang who has the word "Azusa" tattoed above his lip like a mustache was convicted of the murders in March.
The jury recommended the death penalty in three of the murders. Flores was 17 at the time of his first murder, so he was not eligible for the death penalty for that crime.
All the slayings were carried out in the Azusa area between 1999 and 2004.
Flores victims include:
- Christopher Lynch, 16, of Valinda, who was shot to death while attending a party on May 14, 1999. The jury found shooting was racially motivated because Lynch was black.
- Claudia Chenet, 23, of Azusa, who was shot to death on Nov. 19, 2003, because Flores mistakenly believed she had helped the police in a narcotics investigation.
- Miguel Reyes, 20, of Covina, who was shot after being assked his gang affiliation at a Christmas party on Dec. 26, 2004.
- Fenise Luna, 28, of Azusa, who was strangled and beaten to death on Dec. 28, 2004 because of a financial dispute. Jurors also convicted Flores of the special allegation torture in her death.
Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Kathleen Kennedy is expected to sentence Flores to death... then come the appeals.
The sentencing has already been delayed several times, we'll see if this time around it sticks.

what is the status of the isaac campbell murder case involving his ex-girlfriend?
Sr. (Low-Life) Flores should suffer the same fate as one of his victims Fenise Luna, Flores should first be tortured then beaten and finally strangled.
And if any mischief follow, then thou shalt give life for life,
Eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot,
Burning for burning, wound for wound, stripe for stripe.

It's a shame we will waste more tax dollars on court appeals before executing for this murderer, the state should have a quick-pass to the gas chamber for animals like this.
How could this person if you can call him a person murder so many people if such a length of time? Was he committing the first murders then finally caught? What's the deal? This pure evil has total disregard for human life, he should live his life in prison and have that lifetime to repent for the evil he has done, or if he has no remorse he can think of all the life he is missing. Lives have been changed forever because of him parents will be missing sons and daughter, children will be missing parents and lives will not be the same forever. I will pray for the families of the murdered.
God bless them.

what is funny is that he didn't even do the murders, I wish the cops would show their informants. If people seen the guys that said flores did these murders everyone would think twice. Well at least it makes the general public feel better that they got a "murderer" off the street, what a joke HAHAHHA I hear the murderers are on the street.
