I wonder how many of the above crimes were committed by young latino gang members? But let’ s all hope the police profile and investigate old white people and not upset Mr. Jack Ass (US Again) who is so concerned with the right of all the cholos and other low life criminals.
Wonderer,
Well, let's assume they were all committed by Latino gang members. Further, let's assume all Latino youth (14-35) with short hair had something to do with it -- but as part of your investigation, cyber-cybil, please don't include military men in your round up. It would make for bad PR and I don't know that the entire department devoted to cleaning up the PD's image would want to work overtime...but then again, double time behind the desk can't be too bad.
While I know you (and your cyber personas) aren't keen on critical thinking and analysis, it might do you some good to aim before firing. I'm concerned with the rights of all Americans (regardless of hairstyle and skin color) and that you find this troubling says more about you than me. It says, your a dummy and an ass and a dumb-ass.
I win!
Extra Extra! Latino Gang Members Strike Again! But this time, he changes his skin white, grows hair and owns a pair of tight police pants!

The words of the 'critical thinker' below, who says we must fear the police more than any criminal or street gangs, no wonder we call him Sr. Jack Ass.
The diatribes of 'usagain' and his police paranoia.
"Monrovia, the apparent 'All American City' [remember, this was designated almost 15 years ago], is clouded in fear and suspicion. In addition to fearing the gang members who are caught in a vicious cycle of retribution, law abiding citizens must also fear police harassment on the grounds of unwarranted suspicion.
The white and elderly and white, elderly community members escape suspicion. But young, black and latino youth do not. Because police psychology thrives and survives on the stereotype (that is, a shortcut for profiling the type of person they are about to engage)this means a sector of our society is being unfairly singled out and identified as 'suspicious.'
Rampart, what you call 'spinning things for the worse', I call, justified suspicion. I'll grant that prima facie law enforcement should be allowed to operate under a presumption of civil benevolence (that is, they are out to do more good than harm). But global, national and local histories have demonstrated that the people who do the policing need policing the most. And if we disagree, I suspect its because you on the side of the equation holding the gun."
