Excellent disaster information & the price is right!
I wonder:…. If any thought has every been given to utilizing thousands of private/licensed security guards employed by hundreds of private security companies licensed in Calif. during times of emergency & disaster in a “support” position freeing police & fire etc for other matters. They are trained by State & DHS mandate.
A simple contract b/t the State/FEMA with LICENSED security companies shouldn’t be that difficult.
The rate would be the same companies charge private clients and administrative oversight is a must and public information.
Any problems with the program and the State of Calif. would VOID the security company license to operate.
