Canned Spam in high demand

spam.jpgAs a Spam eater i'm not sure if it comforted me to read this or scared the hell out of me. In any event, it's another sign of tough economic times. Here's a story from June about rising SPAM demand.

Drudgereport had this item on the Web this afternoon:

HORMEL FOODS struggling to keep up with SPAM demand... Developing.

I've been told its #1 market is Hawaii, but the midwestern states seem to like it pretty well too. Thanks for the reminder, I think I need to run out for a can.
