Triangle Complex / Freeway Fire threatens Diamond Bar

KABC reports this morning that the Triangle Complex fire which raged overnight in Chino Hills and Carbon Canyon is making its way toward Diamond Bar and threatening several homes. Aerial video of the fire showed it advancing through a grassy wilderness preserve that separates the two communities. The fire could possibly threaten exclusive homes in "The Country"
Here's the latest CAL FIRE UPDATE:


Acres Burned:10,475 acres
Containment:0% contained
Structures Threatened:More than 3,500 structures are threatened.
Structures Destroyed:STRUCTURES DAMAGED OR DESTROYED: 64 buildings OR 104 residences.
  • Anaheim - 10 homes, 10 apartment buildings (50 apartment units) - TOTAL of 60 residences
  • Yorba Linda - 70 residences
  • Corona - 16 residences
Evacuations:

Evacuations are in place for the following areas :

  • Yorba Linda - Olinda Village, East of State College Blvd. and north or Lambert Rd.; north of Yorba Linda cross of San Antonio; and the Apartment Complex at Lambert and Kramer.
  • Brea - Bryant Ranch, Stone Haven & Foxtail.
  • Anaheim - Savi Ranch; between Hwy 91, Hwy 241 and Weir Canyon Rd ; between Mohler Dr, Del Giorgio, Canyon Rim Rd, & Deer Canyon Park.
  • Corona - Deane Homes, at Prado and Santa Ana River.
