Octomom's bizarre 911 call channels Christine Collins

Was Octomom Nadya Suleman channeling Angelina Jolie as Christine Collins in the Changeling?

There are apparently some definite similarities between the two performances.

Here's the story:

WHITTIER - Octomom Nadya Suleman became unhinged with fear last year when she thought she'd lost one of her children, telling an emergency dispatcher, "Oh God, I'm going to kill myself," according to a recording of her 911 call released Wednesday by police.

Suleman made the call Oct. 27 after her 5-year-old son went missing from the front yard, only to find him a few minutes later after he returned from a walk.

Suleman's repeated threats of suicide prompting a chiding from the dispatcher, who could hear children's voices in the background. "Don't say that in front of your other child, OK?" the dispatcher tells Suleman. "Keep yourself under control for your other child; he doesn't need to hear that."

Suleman, an unemployed single mother, has come under scrutiny since giving birth to octuplets Jan. 26 when she already had six other children, ages 2 to 7. Talks show hosts, celebrities and others have weighed in on the topic, with some questioning her ability to look after 14 children.

Compare for yourself:

THE CHANGELING SYNDROME

The movie "The Changeling" in which Angelina Jolie has scenes where she is frantically beseeching to get her lost son back opened on October 24. Trailers for the movie must have been on all the networks for at least a week The Octomom lost son 911 call came in on Oct 27.

Anybody else, you think-- coincidence. But this indigent woman has already spent $25,000 in borrowed money to carve her face into badly replicating Angelina Jolie.

Since her kid showed up while she was still on the phone he couldn't have been more than two minutes away. How hard could she have looked? And if he was with the nanny why wasn't the nanny carrying a cell phone and why didn't Nadya check with her before calling the police?
So much for fudging it with the hormones excuse.

It's all up to California Child Protective Services who are called that for a reason. Nadya Suleman is unfortunately not the first mentally disturbed mom with a lot of kids. There is precedent in place both with social workers and in the law for mentally ill mothers and how to help their children.
Whatever those mental problems are it has made the nation aware by its absence that the true definition of a mother is one who places her children's needs before her own desires.

Hi, i have a question, It is reported that Gordon trawled about in his car to find the young boys so how is it that Walter Collins disapeared from his home, this has been a part of the story that i couldn't understand. Unless of course he had went out to play, but we don't know this.

Just a thought.

Thank you.

Perhaps Suleman is suffering from postpartum depression. Also, the wording of the excerpt doesn't seem very fair -- "unemployed mother" doesn't recognize the work involved in parenting one child, let alone 14.

That's perfect that people are able to take the home loans and it opens up completely new opportunities.
