OIS in Baldwin Park*
Officers shot and seriously a man who reportedly tried to run them over near the Wal-Mart in Baldwin Park, officials reported Tuesday.
The incident occurred about 3 p.m.
Typically the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department will be called in to lead an independent investigation.
The shooting followed an undercover operation involving Anaheim and Fullerton police officers, officials said. Here's a link to the evolving story.
