POMONA -- A 20-year-old man, a 14-year-old girl and a 7-year-old boy were shot and wounded late Friday in Pomona, authorities said.
The incident occurred about 10:25 p.m. in the 1000 block of West 11th Street, Pomona police Officer Jeffrey Hayward said in a written statement.
The suspect was described only as a male Latino, he said. A motive was unclear, but it appeared to have been a gang-related attack.
The teenage girl was listed in serious condition at an area hospital, Hayward said. The man and young boy were expected to survive.
