Hit-and-run, robbery reported in Pasadena

In two unrelated incidents, Pasadena police reported an injury hit-and-run crash and a robbery late Saturday.

PASADENA -- Police asked the public's help Sunday in finding a hit-and-run driver who injured a man on a motor scooter.
The crash was reported about 9:15 p.m. Saturday at Los Robles Avenue at Orange Grove Boulevard, Pasadena police Lt. Tracey Ibarra said.
Witnesses reported hearing an impact, then seeing a man in his 30s on the floor and a brown or blue pickup truck with a black camper shell driving away from the area, Ibarra said.
The man suffered a broken jaw, a broken hip and several facial fractures, the lieutenant said.
Any witnesses to the crash or anyone with information on the hit-and-run driver is asked to call the Pasadena Police Department.

PASADENA -- A woman used a handgun to rob a gas station Saturday, authorities said.
The crime occurred about 11:25 p.m. at a gas station in the 100 block of East Glenarm Street, Pasadena police Lt. Tracey Ibarra said.
The robber was described as a black woman in her 30s, about 6 feet tall and weighing 250 pounds, wearing a black shirt and brown pants, the lieutenant said.
After demanding cash from the register, she was last seen running northbound from the gas station, Ibarra said.
