The crash was reported about 8:30 p.m. on Valley Boulevard, just west of Atlantic Boulevard, according to California Highway Patrol logs.
The crash involved the police car and another vehicle, and did not result in injuries or major damage, Alhambra police Sgt. Richard Aguayo said.
The cause of the crash was being investigated by the CHP, Aguayo said.
