Armed robbery reported in Rosemead

ROSEMEAD -- A masked robber fled with an undisclosed amount of cash Friday afternoon after robbing a business at knifepoint, authorities said.
The crime was reported about 3:50 p.m. at Romance Home Textile, 9438 Valley Boulevard, Los Angeles County sheriff's Sgt. John Stilgenbauer said.
The robber was described as a Latino man in his mid-20s, armed with a knife, who wore black clothing and had his face covered, the sergeant said.
It was not clear if a getaway car was involved, he added.
No further details were available.
