Same thing happened with a dead outlaw from the 1800s whose dead body ended up in a hanuted house in Long Beach - his name was Elmer McCurdy rumor is the body was also used as a halloween attraction at the Boys Club on Fair Oaks.
The arm fell off one day and the folks in Long Beach realized the remains were mummified.
