PCC student recants attack allegations

PASADENA -- A Pasadena City College student who reported being attacked on campus last week has recanted her story, according to school officials.

During the investigation, the student told campus police that she had fabricated the story. She told them that the minor injuries that she had sustained during the attack were self-inflicted, according to a release from president Lisa Sugimoto.
