Woman's body discovered in burning Santa Fe trashcan

Firefighters discovered the body of a woman, apparently bound by electrical cord in a Santa Fe Springs trash bin, officials said Tuesday.
Authorities said the discovery occurred in a parking lot on Firestone Boulevard near the 5 freeway about 12:30 a.m.
Homicide detectives and investigators from the Los Angeles County Department of Coroner were on scene this morning.
No further details were immediately available.
